Members of the Images Alberta Camera Club will coach Belgravia’s aspiring photographers during one of our neighbourhood’s most beautiful seasons. Camera Club members will provide tips on camera use and options for other equipment. They’ll also accompany photographers to picturesque places in our neighbourhood. After each shoot is finished, Camera Club members will help Belgravians explore how to enhance their images and print them at the hall.

How about a Belgravia- McKernan Jane’s Walk?

What is Jane’s Walk? Jane’s Walk 2012 takes place on May 5 & 6 in cities all around the world. Everyone is welcome to lead or join in a free walk exploring the history and stories that shape our everyday urban and neighbourhood experience.

We are inviting you to lead a walk in the area where you live, work or play. It simply involves planning a route, thinking through the stories, places and people you want to hear and talk about, and promoting it around your neighbourhood.

Over 500 people helped celebrate our community and the opening of the new BCL hall on September 17, 2016. Belgravia Elementary School (Parent’s Council) partnered with the BCL to make our 3rd Belgravia Hustle a success …

… and organized a kids fun soccer game promoting Belgravia Ever Active …

Our BCL Zumba Classes with instructor Catherine are back at St. Paul’s Church while the hall is under reconstruction.

After years of effort by hundreds of people, construction will begin this summer on renovating and expanding the community hall. On July 15, the Belgravia Community League board passed a motion to proceed with construction. This is an exciting step for our neighborhood.

Join us Sunday, August 9 as Belgravia hosts a FREE Edible Gardens tour – a first for our neighbourhood!

Five food-producing homeowners will open their gardens to visitors and be on-hand to answer your questions.

PLEASE NOTE: Each garden will be open only for a one-hour period during the afternoon, so plan your visit accordingly. This tour is free and open to all – we look forward to seeing you there!
